Strokes kill six million people every year, and leave five million more permanently disabled. A major indicator of an impending stroke is slight paralysis on one side of your face, known as “facial droop.”

Through simply repurposing your smartphone’s front-facing camera, your device can now perform a scan of your face every time you unlock your phone, alerting users of a deadly stroke days before it ever occurs.
